July 4th: Paxton’s Annual 4th of July Car Show at Pells Park. We’ll be meeting at WalMart in front of Burger King and leaving at 8:00 a.m. Registration is from 9-12.

Friday, July 23: Lincoln Park Movie Night Car Show. Reg. is from 5:30-7:00 p.m., awards are at 8. Registration fee is canned goods. The movie playing will be CARS. The car show is being put on by club members, Nancy and Archie Quick. Any help from our members would be greatly appreciated - all members will be given a free meal ticket.

There will be no meeting place because we all get off work at different times, just come when you are available.

July 31: Top Gun Shoot Out in Rantoul. We’ll be meeting at the Little Nugget off of 150 in Danville, IL at 8:00 a.m. Registration is at 9:00 and awards will be at 4:00.

Aug. 1: A Day at the Park at Perry Farm Park in Bourbonnais, IL. Registration is from 8:00 to 11:00 . We’ll be meeting Wal-Mart in front of Burger King and leaving at 8:00 a.m. Participant judging begins at 11:00. Ok, registration fee is $20.00 the day of the show, if you pre-register and it’s post marked by July 26, 2010 it will only be $10.00. You can also try to print one off of their website at www.northernmustangcorral.com. Dash Plaques will be given to the first 300 cars.

August 14: 3rd Annual Bunker Hill Run, Kennekuk County Park Bunker Hill Historic Area, 8 am to 11pm, 3 separate cruises to Danville, door prizes, 50/50 drawing, on display - Antiques, Corvettes, Muscle Cars, Hot Rods & Antique Tractors. No entry fees and no judging. Sponsored by the Vermilion County Conservation District foundation. We’ll meet at the Little Nugget at 7:30 a.m.

August 21: Cruise –in On the Square by the Junkyard Dogs. We’ll meet at Gutteridge Harley Davidson in Tilton at 4:30 p.m. Show is from 5-10, donation only show, dash plaques, 50/50, food, and live music. Call 217-662-2388 for more details.

Sept. 4: Sweet Corn Festival Car Show, more details to follow.

Sept 5: Earl Park Fall Festival Car Show, more details to follow.

Sept. 25: Vermilion Co. Crimestoppers Car Show & Movie Night, downtown Danville at Temple Plaza. Free Live Music from 5-7p.m. Car show begins at 5, registration starts at 4 pm and is $10.00. Movie starts at 7pm on Danville’s 18’ x 24’ Monster Media Screen at Kresgee. We’ll meet at Big Lots at 3:45 to cruise together to the car show.
